Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Bran Stark flashback to last entire episode in finale?
GAME OF THRONES season eight is just around the corner and viewers are already full of anticipation about what to expect. But could one episode be dedicated to exploring a very important part of the backstory?
the HBO series is no stranger to showing scenes jumping through time, but fans may see the lengthiest flashback yet in season eight.
Fans know there have been lots of theories swirling about the relevance of Azor Ahai and his wife Nissa Nissa in relation to the events that will unfold in the eighth series.
The legendary Game of Thrones figure is an important one from the faith of the Lord of Light which plenty of characters have been seen following.
Plus, there has been speculation that Nissa Nissa may actually have become a White Walker which is the present characters’ greatest threat at the moment.
But will viewers get a glimpse of the mythic players in the final instalment?
One fan thinks the lore could get its own entire episode in the eighth season in order to explain how it ties in with the current events in the programme.
Reddit user banal wrote: “Lots of theories floating around about Azor Ahai, the Night King, 13th lord commander of the nights watch, Nissa Nissa, etc.
“My prediction is that we get an ENTIRE episode, or close to it, that goes back in time and explains and shows this whole history. Maybe as a Bran flashback.
“It would be the only way to give it enough weight and explanation, to tie it into the current events and brining everything full circle.”
Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) has the ability to look into the past as he has the power of Greensight, alongside his abilities as a warg.

However, there are just six episodes in the final instalment so it may be a tall order for one of the episodes to be solely dedicated to this bit of back story.
But it has been teased that fans can expect a lot from the last six episodes.
HBO boss Richard Plepler has divulged that each episode is like a “movie” in its own right.
He told Variety: “It’s a spectacle. The guys have done six movies. The reaction I had while watching them was, ‘I’m watching a movie’.”
Richard was also full of praise for show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

“They knew the bar was high. They’ve exceeded the bar. I’ve watched them twice without any CGI and I’m in awe,” he added.
“Everybody’s in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production.”
But viewers will have to wait and see just exactly what it entails once and for all.
The final series is set to air on April 15 where all the loose ends will hopefully be tied up.
Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
