Maisie Williams, famous for her role as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, has made a big revelation about the final episode of the drama series. According to the 21-year-old star, it would not matter who sits on the Iron Throne towards the climax as the fans of the show would not feel satisfied with the way the show is going to end.
The actor also said that the show is coming to an end at the right time and that she is proud of it. “I don’t know that anyone is going to be satisfied. No one wants it to end, you know, but I’m really proud of this final season,” she told Sky News.
“I’ve always felt ashamed to say things like that, but I am. I’m really proud of all the work we’ve put it, for me it’s the right time. I hope people like it,” she further told the British news channel.
The eighth and final season of GOT will go on air on April 14, 2019. Arya Stark, Maisie Williams’ character in the show, is that of a persevering girl who grows up to become a determined warrior and avenge the cruel and unjust execution of her father Ned Stark.
The hugely-anticipated climax of the epic fantasy television series has several fan theories associated to it. The show had first aired eight years ago, in April, 2011. A PTI report claimed that Maisie also dismissed the reports of the makers having to film multiple endings for the final season after serious leaks that had occurred in 2017.
